There are some things missing from the gameplay options in Pro Evolution Soccer 2011, such as the ability to change player when not in possession, and a distinct lack of tricks, flicks and special moves. The passing system is very advanced, giving you lots of control over where you hit your balls, and you really feel like a part of the action. There are three different control systems, which are pretty straightforward to master. In terms of gameplay, Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 doesn't disappoint and we actually found it more enjoyable than FIFA for iPhone. This takes away from the excitement a bit, and makes for quite a stale atmosphere. However, Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 still lacks real team uniforms, and the player likenesses aren't as good as they are in FIFA.ĭisappointingly, Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 doesn't include any game commentary. Movement feels a lot more fluid than FIFA 11, and the action is less laggy. The game menus are well presented and true to the console version of PES 2011, and the in-game player animation and ball physics are very realistic. Graphically, Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 is pretty impressive.
